Widener's Throw Like Youri Hammer Throw Event

Hi, All.

Thank you for registering for this year's "Throw Like Youri" Event! We have some important updates regarding schedule and flights below in addition to other important information. 

Please read through this email to ensure you are ready for Sunday.

Throwing Groups Update

Due to the way entries finalized, we have decided to add an additional division of Men in an Elite section to allow everyone at this event the opportunity to get 6 throws in competition. We have also combined the Women's open and Women's Masters Open divisions for a better competition flow. 

**Please note that Masters level Women will be permitted to throw their age-appropriate weighted hammer(s) in the Women's open division**

Schedule Updates and Warm-ups

The event schedule has been adjusted to reflect the following based on entries received.

 Please note that these are the START times for each group. 

- 11:00 AM: Master's Men Open Division 

- 12:30 PM: Women's Open Division

- 1:45 PM: Men's Open Division

- 3:00 PM: Men's Elite Division

**20 minute Warm-up times have been factored in for each division. 

The Master's Men Open Division will begin warmup around 10:40 AM.

Weigh-Ins

Weigh-ins for everyone will be conducted on the javelin runway right near the circles starting no later than 10:30 AM.

Important Note Regarding USATF

Due to the limited amount of time we had to coordinate this event, we were unable to obtain a USATF sanction for this event. It is important to note for all athletes that your results from this competition will not be able to be used to enter any USATF related championship events in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
